Default 2 new mods on the way

Well, it's been an expensive week for mods and other needed equipment.

Just bought a set of the Limited Parts Industy's rear window louvers for my Challenger. I really like the louvers in yesteryears and feel the same about them today. I think the Hemi-Orange R/T will really be a BCHN HME once these are installed.

Also have a set of 345Hemi hood emblems made by MoPower. I've waited quit a while for these to get back into production. They to will bring some more "retro" look to the car.

Bought a Porter Cable 7424XP polisher along with numerous pads to polish the spider webbing out of the car's clear coat that has developed over the almost 1 1/2 since I've had the car. I'm kinda nervious about doing this to my car so I'm going to practice on my wife's Pacifica. That will make her happy and I'll get some great experience before screwing up my R/T.

It's taken me a full six months to save up enough money to get this items and I can't wait to get them so I can get started. It's going to be a long hot summer.

These new additions sound cool. Can't wait to see them on the Challenger.

Wow! Hurry up, install the louvers, and then show us some pics. Can't wait to see the new look. You're going to love the results you get with the porter cable...just ask some of the other guys on this forum who are OCD with their paint jobs. Sorry to hear about the problem with peeling clear coat. That's just not right and Dodge should be taking care of that for you.

Well, I ordered the PC7424XP from COASTAL TOOLS in Hartford, Connecticut; the louvers were ordered from SS INSERTS, Scottsdate, AZ from LPI,someplace in Canada; the 345HEMI Hood Emblem was ordered from MoPower in Florida; the pads & polishing compounds, along with a free sample of something that I can't remember what it was, were ordered from AUTOGEEK, in Stuart, Flordia. Total price for all: almost $1,800 freaking bucks. Gas money will be SHORT for a month or three.lol

Even so, this hobby isn't as expensive as my last FULL time hobby...Bass Fishing tournaments.

What did you guys pay for your Porter Cables? I hate to say it now, but Forrest (07Bullet) has a new machine that looks and works JUST like the Porter Cable, but it had a regulator on it so even with tons of pressure on it, it wont bog down at all. I have used his, and its sweet. Don't get me wrong...i have and LOVE my Porter Cable, but I wish I knew Forrest and his machine was available a year ago when i got my Porter Cable. Can't beat the price, and he can put together a nice package of Pads and Product...
