Got to figure out how to remove that.

AND WE HAVE A WINNER. Let me know if you would like this installed and I'll try to find a shop near you to install it for you. If your local tint shops don't have anybody trained, let me know if they would like to have someone trained to do this and I'll take care of it.

Our company is called Clearplex and we have paired up with Clearbra to make basically a "clearbra" for the windshield. We can also make them for the other windows of your cars to really slow down intruders that try to break the windows. You can go to Invisible Windshield Protection Films by ClearPlex® to check out more info. As of right now, we are just starting out and trying to train as many people as we can to install this product to as many places in the U.S. right now. Because we are based out of Utah, we have a lot more places here to install. We just barely trained someone in Reno and North Hollywood. I would really like to expand more, so if you all know of tint shops that would be interested in this, I can send out fliers, cards, and brochures about this to them.

So this goes on the outside of the windshield? How does it work with the windsheild wipers and rain? Would think they would scratch it if it's just a clear plastic film.

Cool!

How does it hold up to weather (hot and cold) and the use of wipers??

Can it be layered NASCAR style?

Just when using the wipers, make sure your windshield is wet or use the fluid. Also, just periodically check to make sure your wipers are clean. California isn't as dusty as Utah, so having to clean your wiper blades isn't usually needed. In Utah, it's so dusty that I have to wipe off my wiper blades once a week to get rid of the dust that builds up. The Clearplex on the windshield is 1.5 mm thicker than the Clearbra on a car.

I had it sitting out today in the Utah dry heat at around 97 degrees for about 6 hours. I will have to wait til winter time when it starts to snow to tell you about the cold because I myself haven't personally test them yet. I've used my wipers on them today and they were fine. Also, just ran it through a machine car wash and not a single mark.

We can have it layered NASCAR style. If you have a preference to how thick you want it, it can be done. We have done some office buildings which we got the Clearplex to be about 4-5 mm thick. It can take a .22 point blank and barely make a mark.

Sounds like a very worthwhile product. I might be very interested. Congrats to Epic, too!

Definitely something I would be interested in.

I would first have to replace my windshield. No sence putting it on glass that has little pits in it.

Would still like to see one installed in person. Any distortion created? Or as clear as window tint?

I'll pm you later.

I will post another thread with pictures during the install and then take a picture of it from the driver's point of view. There is no distortion and it doesn't look like anything is there. It's kind of like a screen protector for a phone or laptop. You really can't tell that it is there.

When youtube gets their video loading problem fixed, I'll start a new thread about this product and post pictures up about it.
