Default Clearplex

Here are the pictures from the install. Install takes about 45 minutes to 60 minutes depending on the installer. The install is pretty simple except for the curves of the Charger's windshield on the corners. They are extremely hard to wrap around those corners. To answer some issues:
1) It doesn't yellow like Clearbra.
2) It's safe from scratches when cleaning with a squeegee, microfiber cloth, terry cloth towels, and wipers
3) It can withstand extreme heat/cold.
4) Water beads off of it making cleaning very simple. Acts almost like if you have treated your windows with RainX permanently.

Here are some pictures from the install.
The first time to lay it down, he just lays it on to just shrink it around the curves of the windshield. After he gets it all smooth and everything lined up, he then takes the first layer off to reveal the adhesive side to the Clearplex and then installs a custom made Clearplex for the windshield. If you have ever installed a screen protector on your phone or iPod, you would remember there is the first layer you take off to reveal the sticky side you have to install to the screen. This is pretty much the same idea with the windshield.

I will post one more video sample of how Clearplex protects your windshield in this post when Youtube fixes it's loading problem.

I like and need. Let us know when we get someone trained in CenCal to do this install unless you plan to be here to do all that.

The cutting knife in that guy's hand worries me. Is there any reason why this product can't be pre-cut with computer generated software like most good tint shops now use?

From the looks of it, its just like tint. The tint needs to be heated to the shape of the window then you do your cut to the size of the window then after all that you can apply it.

Well, we are just starting out and don't have all the computer goodies to do all that work for us yet. So pretty much we are training people now to be able to install it by hand. So every piece is custom.

You can also put these on all your windows if you want, but we are just starting out with front windshields. This could save our cars from a lot of break-ins.
