Honestly... flames are horrible dude. lol But I love the idea! With a slightly better flame job it will look great! I'd keep the metal bare though, or just clear it, but I like how it matches the silver of the car. I would also paint the band clamps black to blend in.

Wow, that was direct, I did ask for feedback though. I knew this was not the best job I could do when I finished it but I wanted to get an idea of how it would look. PD is not conducive for pulling off tape designs in it, too much razor blade work just to pull the tape off once painted. I've got an idea on a much better flame layout for my second pass at it. Maybe it won't be so horrible for you, LOL, but hey all great designs have prototypes that need tweaked here and there.

You know to do a nice flame job you can buy the 1/8 green take and you can make the flame designs real easy because the tape is thin and pretty flexible then you can tape the intake tube after you've laid out the design.

I think it looks good as is. I found out for some reason, electrical tape pulls-off PD better than blue painter's tape. When painting my FF, I had a combination of E-tape and blue tape and E-tape came off clean while blue tape pulled PD off in some areas that I had to re-touch.
