Took care of the chrome rings on the two filters this afternoon. Now I hope I can get the engine cover done before our M&G in Tracy on Saturday.

Definitely makes a difference with the Black rings! Do you know what the heat tolerance on Plasti Stuff is. I'd like to do it on my rad hose/clamps.

Found these specs on the net. I've got a 180 tstat on mine and haven't seen any adverse effects yet. However I think a radiator clamp would get alot more heat than my application.
