What do you do to prep the surface before you paint it?

Are you just cleaning the surface first or using an adhesion promoter?

Looks great.

I scrubed the surface with a brand new dishwashing brush and Dawn soap. Then I used an adhesion promoter and then a sandable primer. I only had a half can of primer so it only got one coat. If I wasn't lazy and went out to get more, it would have come out smoother. :-)
