Default Spent most of the day watching paint dry

Today was a really nice day (except for the wind) so I tackled my Brake upgrades and caliper painting today.

Thanks to Steven at R1 Concepts for hooking me up with a set of dimpled and slotted rotors along with some new fleet brake pads.

Paint was a two stage base / clear to match the body color of the car.

Here are the pics. Note: It got dark by the time I finished so I don't have any completed daylight shots yet.

When it gets a little warmer I will be installing my custom BumbleBee stripe. Still just too cold.

Wow! Looks great!! Did you use a specific caliper paint or is that just a regular color matched paint?

Just color matched paint.
Could not find high temp paint in toxic orange.

Your car is looking hot! Extremely well done paint work. Nice looking garage, too. Even your jack is toxic orange, lol!

That is super cool!! I wish I could have done that when I upgraded my brakes.

im inthe process to do the same as well but the whole temp is keeping from doing it .. most likely i will go for the high temp caliper paint and cross my fingers it sticks and remains SHINEY ..
