First Detachment of the Year

That's right time to start the detachments and deployments for the year. First up Deck certification for the Lincoln. Pilots gotta learn to land, boats gotta learn to catch'em. In any case, around the first of second week of Feb. I will be out to see for about a week. Am I looking forward to it, yes and no. It will be fun to be on the flight deck again, but too many new folks that don't know what they are doing. Fingers crossed....

I'm guessing you are talking about the seahawks, helos? (Just cause I work on'em doesn't mean I learn their names, LOL). Yea, helo's aren't bad. The jets are a whole nother story. LOL. Even the props are easier.

Oh, I forgot to tell you all, that I'm not going anymore. Turns out that with only six people total in my shop, it's not a good idea to send 4 to the boat, LOL. So we split it three/three. I get to stay home and mod Boo.
