Broken in to. Damnit!!
Looks like it's my turn. My phone rings at 5:45 this morning. "Hello, is this Mr. Sue? This is the police department. Do you own a Chrysler 300? There is an officer at your front door." WTF?!?! I grab the first thing I can find and run out the door. The first thing I thought about was all the car fires going on in my area.
I get outside and 2 cops are waiting for me. My trunk is open and the doors are partially closed. They got my amps and an iPod I had in the glovebox. My sub box was bolted to the trunk floor so even though they tried, they couldn't get it out. The trunks a mess and the box needs some repair work but overall, nothing else was messed up. They dumped out my glovebox but didn't mess up anything in the interior either. They got my wheel lock key so I'll have to worry about them coming back tonight. Tomorrow a new set should arrive. Overall, I consider myself lucky. It could've been alot worse. Just needed to vent.

Man that sucks. How did they get the trunk open? I thought the trunk button in the car wouldn't work if the car hadn't been unlocked properly. Sounds like it could have been a lot worse for you damage wise. Glad you're still on the road.

man what a way to start the weekend. Luckily there was no major damage and its stuff you can replace. sorry to hear about what your going through i would be/am pissed too.
