Default Car Stalled

I was parallel parking, had the wheels turned all the way to the left, in reverse then shifted into drive, while foot on the break still. Then, bam, the car died. I had turned the wheel all the way to the left just after I shifted to drive and the engine just died, no power, nada.

I felt a power loss when the wheels went all the way over and then boom, nothing. This happen to anyone before and does anyone know what the hell is going on here?

Argh...

I had mine stall on me in the post office drop off lane, was getting a wee bit low on oil. Still, very scary. The guys at Central Valley said the LXes are very sensitive to anything that might cause engine damage. Just a thought. Were you able to start it up again or is it dead dead?

It's running, she is growling just fine. I've always had this spike when at idle too. Sometimes the idle will jump a bit when sitting or, if at a stop light and I hit the window button, loss of power or drain and you can hear it. I always thought my alternator was jacked but it wasn't that and the battery is still good. The engine oil is good too as I just changed it less than 500 miles ago and no leaks.

Strange...

My Magnum would sometime stall sitting at a stoplight with the defrost, heated seat, and lights on but it would start up fine with no problem. It only happened twice. I thought maybe the injectors and fuel system might be dirty so I had them serviced at CVA. It hasn't happened since. (Fingers crossed)

Fueling works off of voltage so if you have an unusual draw on the system and exactly the wrong time its possible it just didn't get the right amount of fuel... Long shot but it doesn't sound too serious...

It's happened to me before and I thought it was just a fluke. Maybe it's time to change the battery...

If you change anything... Upgrade the ground wire first
