So I am being profiled in an AOL Autos article on "women who love muscle cars" in the next couple of weeks. Already did the interview and apparently impressed the socks off the guy, but now he wants a high resolution pretty photo of the car, with me in it.

Any ideas on good places to take some photos or help with taking photos would be awesome. I have until Wednesday of next week to get it done so I'm aiming for doing all this (detailing/photos) this weekend, weather permitting.

I only ask you all because I know you are all really into your cars, go to all the shows and well, like Ricky Bobby, I'm a "driver."

Those are some sweet pics!

Well, was thinking of getting out my helmet, deathproof jacket and racing get up, and finding a big empty parking lot since I'm not sure how Infineon feels about me driving up one afternoon and taking pictures in front of a sign, or something similar since I'm more into autocross/roadcourse driving. I know I'm probably making a big to-do out of nothing. On second thought I think I'm just going to get it washed/waxed like usual, go over the spots with spot-detail and get Marc to take some photos with the camera resolution dialed way up and hope for the best.

Sounds real cool, Tam!! I'd help with the detail, but I am tied up this weekend after a long week of photographing a Vacation Bible School for my daughter-in-law!

Best of luck prepping it up and I agree with your racing get-up for the shoot, maybe at Infineon. Keep us informed where we can see this "write-up", OK??

Hey, don't kid yourself, that is way cool and is a big deal. How many people are they picking? not many I'd guess. How many of us can claim the same type of thing? Again, not many.

I'm thinking photos of the car, photos of me and the car and if Madeline's feeling agreeable, photos of me, Madeline and the car together, just for my personal collection and to use for sigs or whatever. Figure while I'm out tomorrow running errands I'll keep my eyes open for good places to shoot.
