Anyone know anyone at Sprint?

I am trying to get a Sprint EVO phone and was wondering if anyone has a hookup. I dont need a huge discount...one would be nice, but i am willing to pay the 200 bux or 300 with mail in rebate. I am on TWO waiting lists and dont wanna wait any damn longer.

I got my EVO thru Best Buy's website about 10 days ago. They only had them in white.

how long did you have to wait Ken? From order time to arrival...

did you pay $299.00 and get the rebate or did they charge you $199.00?

I ordered late on a Friday afternoon, and got it the following Monday.

I paid $199 + tax & shipping.

Out of curiousity I dropped by the Fairfield Sprint store this morning and they had just received three boxes of evos. They suggest calling your local stores early in the AM as soon as they get their days shipment.

Ken...are you giving up on yours already? Or do you have a line on another one? I actually got one a couple weeks ago. Thanks so much for posting up here. I am loving it so far. Best buy is the way to go. No wait on the rebate. Bestbuy does it instantly.

Radio Shack called twice yesterday having them in stock. Same deal as Best Buy.

Ahhhh, yes. I forgot they had it too. The guy at the Radio Shack here was saying "OH NO....you want the new...yada yada."

Um no, I want the EVO. Sure I like the idea of the real keyboard, but that new phone (I forgot what it's called) just didn't do it for me like the EVO does.

Ken, I appreciate ya lettin me know you had a beat on the phone. It was greatly appreciated that you thought of me.
