So........as I sit in the waiting room of the opthamologist for the third time in as many days, dreading that damn light being shined in my eye yet again, I can't help but worry about whether or not this white cloud that is obscuring the vision of my left eye will ever go away. My eye lid doesn't even open more than half way on it's own and my eye feels grainy and dry (even though I have drops that I put in them every few hours). Not a good feeling.

I am optimistic that everything will be fine, and my eye will recover and return to normal. But, just never thought that I would have had to deal with so much bluslhit from getting a little dirt/metal in my eye.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to whine like a little baby, but hopefully further relay how this all could've been prevented.

Never again, I say!

UPDATE: the eye is healing but still has a crater in the surface in front of the pupil. Have to go back for another visit Friday. This sucks!

John, sorry to hear about your eye! I Hope you have a speedy recovery and hopefully friday will be your last visit to the doctor! Definitely a valid learning experience. Speaking of which, I need to invest in some eye protection and a respirator.

X2 on that

Hope it get better quick.

My boss has had detached retinas in both of his eyes which sounds like scary sh!t too, he's got me paranoid about my eyes. Messing with your eyes is no joke, definitely keep them protected, they're the only two you have (haven't seen too many eye transplants going on).
