So sorry to hear this happened to your brand new 2012 Charger. I would be very upset as well, especially since you have taken great precautions to park it in a safer place. Who would have thought the 'baptism' would happen this early during ownership! I empathize with your anger but at this point, you have to let it go and move forward. Yes, it would have been easier to deal with a door ding but taking out a paint chip makes the repair more difficult. I like your idea of using some type of wrap in the future. Hang in there. Let us know what your immediate plans will be for the repair.

So sorry to hear about the damage! No accounting for civility anymore. I'm more inclined to go the middle ground as well in terms of parking spaces. Bottom line is - shit can happen regardless of location as I've been dimpled regardless of parking density.

Thanks... It could have been a lot worse so I guess in a way I was lucky and unlucky at the same time. I'm not as mad now... As I was when I first saw it. I guess after I'm done at ditos saterday, there's a body shop down the road from me. Thinking about stopping by and seeing about getting a quote. Also I noticed a pretty long clear coat scratch on the top of my front driver side fender... Tried buffing and clear coat scratch repair and it's still there... So I'll have them look at that too while I'm there. Not sure when I got that... But it's an eye sore for me now... And if I fix one I might as well do everything at once.
