LX rideshare?

Just throwing this out there. I drive every day from Dublin (I live right next to the 580/680 interchange) down to San Jose by the airport and back for work. While it's great having a job to pay my bills, I'm finding gas money hard to come by. Was wondering if anyone wanted to try a rideshare deal.

If you live further out, you could park your car at my apartment complex (pretty empty during the day, gated), and I'll gladly drive to San Jose if it means getting the express lane and splitting gas costs. My schedule is fairly flexible, I can be at work as early as 6:30 or as late as 9, so long as I get home at a reasonable hour. I am a licensed driver going on 18 years this year, with insurance. After nearly five months of driving this commute and putting 300 miles a week on my car, I've learned to go easier on the gas and make it last a little longer.

Anyway, insane idea, but just trying to find ways to stretch a dollar a little further.

I'm doing my best to lay off the gas going to and from work on 680, and I just found out I can work overtime if its requested by my boss. I'm running short the $250 a month I need for gas, so trying to see ways to make that up. And no I'm not asking someone to pay me $250 a month to drive them to San Jose. Figure $4-5 a day unless you want me to actually clean the car and then I'll start charging like its a limo service. I kid, I kid.
