Lol, I don't need anymore damages from winds. Just finished the roof repair last week from caused by the hurricane winds we had 12/1/11. This time, I'm more prepared with emergency items in case I lose power for upteen hours or days.

For those in the South Valley Area:

OF THE S. SIERRA WED NIGHT & THUR MORNING.

.POTENTIALLY DAMAGING NE WINDS ARE POSSIBLE IN THE FOOTHILLS
AND HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE SIERRA WED EVENING INTO THURSDAY
MORNING. THE WINDS WILL LIKELY DEVELOP IN THE WAKE OF A STORM SYSTEM

* WINDS: NE 25 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 60 MPH OR HIGHER.

* TIMING: 10 PM PST WED UNTIL 10 AM PST THURSDAY.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE: SHAVER LAKE.HUNTINGTON LAKE.YOSEMITE
VALLEY.MARIPOSA.OAKHURST.NORTH FORK.

* IMPACTS: DOWNED TREES.POWER OUTAGES.TRAVEL DISRUPTIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS.

A HIGH WIND WATCH MEANS THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR A HAZARDOUS
HIGH WIND EVENT. WIND GUSTS OF 58 MPH OR STRONGER MAY OCCUR.

THE STORM SYSTEM THAT BROUGHT SNOW TO THE REGION EARLIER THISMORNING HAS NOW MOVED SO. & EAST WITH THE BULK OF ITS
PRECIPITATION. ISOLATED SNOW SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH THEAFTERNOON WITH LITTLE OR NO ACCUMULATION.
