Hey John, are you going for the 2 day event or just Sunday. Is there enough to keep it interesting for 2 days?

If you are just going to spectate, Saturday should be cool, but may not hold your interest for all of Sunday......unless something spectacular happens like more then one car breaks 200mph, there is more than 2 LX's and maybe some using a power adder, there are more exotic cars than in March, yada yada.

I will be there both days.

If you are going to race, both days should provide ample opportunity to get several runs in.

Last March I probably could have done a total of six runs, but stopped at 4 since I was driving home that evening. There were about 80 cars racing, we started about an hour late, we had a 30 minute rain delay and there where periodic runway sweeps (visual) for debris. Also keep in mind that after each run I got back in line to wait for the next run. By 3 pm there where only about 50 cars in line for runs then by 4 there where only about 20 cars in line.

I have a call in to MKM and will be asking how many have actually registered for this event to see what the numbers look like.

To me, worth the extra money for the extra day. I have pretty steep goal I want to achieve and will most likely need both days to make it happen as I may have to do some minor tweaks on Saturday evening if I don't hit my goal.

Is the cost the same if you are only spectating? Do they allow you to have a certain amount of crew with you?

There is no charge for spectators, but you do have to sign a waiver.

Shhhhh!!!! Don't tell anyone, but I am working on a way to try and do a live web cast, including my runs......from in the car. Not sure if it will work yet, still need to do some testing.

Under the circumstances that I and my family have been going through lately, I'll regretably have to withdraw from this event.

Good luck with the 160 mark. Hope you reach it!
