Is this a good event for kids?
Do they get to get close to some airplanes and see some airport activity?
How close do you get to the blue angels and thier show?

I was thinking my boys, 7 & 9, might enjoy this if there are fun activities.

It's pretty good for kids. You can get close to some of the personally owned aircraft they have on display and are flown in. There are different car clubs that come out to this one too. They have had a 747 on display and open for people to walk through. Kids usually get to head into the flight deck. They've had some fire trucks for the kids to climb onto as well. You can't right next to the Blue Angels or other aircraft for Fleet Week due to security, but you are considerably close for pictures.
