Default Air intake on a 2.7.. Anybody built thier own?

I was going to buy the kit from 3G but it looks like a pretty simple set-up. I'm going to build my own from stuff at the auto parts store.

So has anyone else tried or been successful in creating a air intake system?

I havent seen any on a 2.7 but I have on a 3.5. And works fantastically from what everyone says. I did a somewhat frankentake on my 5.7 and works great. If you need any help or any places to order stuff from let me know!

well i figured it out and will have pics up soon. It was so simple and only cost about $40 and all the parts were from pepboys. If anybody else needs help I got you.

Side note anybody got a lowering kit for my 2.7? It can be new or used.

I doubt you'll see any gains at all, but at $40, its worth it for the sound. LOL

I can feel a slight difference in my acceleration. There is a sound difference but not enough to drive you crazy. I would suggest everybody to upgrade but it might cost a little more for other motor set-ups.

I will also be looking into a power programmer. Anybody have any experience with these?

I'm a little slow with this site and loading pics. I'm still working on it. Give me a day or two.
