I have a stock pink one that looks clean and no obvious fatigue marks on it if you are interested.

Hehe I remember when that happened...
I just pulled the part out. The negative is you can pull the key out (when the ignition is in the off position, of course), without being in park.

However, I don't really have a habit of leaving my car in a gear other than park..
