Painting is a good alternative, even silver spray paint to get you through this....

I was changing my spark plugs and went into the house and someone decided to drive into my garage then........

Well, who was that? Anyway, accidents happens and only your silver piece appears to have some slight scratches. Get that spray paint that can take the heat!
