First off, this is the first time I've ever worked with fabric and glue so I'm happy with my first result but I do plan on doing it again to get the folded edges straight so there are no creases. I think it came out pretty darn good otherwise and it is so freaking comfortable on the elbow. I bent the edges of the cross down as not to poke my arm and so far I like it. The fabric wasn't the best but I wanted to try it with something cheap before moving onto a nicer material, this was a black nubuck type of material I got from Wallyworld for $7.98. Picture with flash makes it look shiny but it isn't, more like a worn suede look. Next steps is to make some small elbow pads for the door arm rests out of the same stuff. I have a ton of the memory foam due to my kid wetting our bed with a 3" Eastern King memory foam pad on it. I cut the Pee spot out and have a ton of this stuff to do as I like with. So if you are in the bay area and want to give this a shot, let me know and I can give you some of the foam. I had to cut the stuff in half twice in terms of thickness to get it where it looked right.
What do you think??? ![]()

I've always thought Memory Foam would be a better selection than regular foam. Good job on a mod I still don't have!
