Cool Moved to the bay area in July of 2010 from Louisville, Kentucky

Hello

My name is Jonathan but most call me frost back home. I moved to the bay area more specifically Redwood City back in July of 2010 for a job. Pretty much packed up all my stuff and threw it in the back of my 2007 Charger SXT and called a transport company to ship the car and all here while I took a plane.

Been really busy just trying to get myself established here so i haven't really made any new friends here yet outside of work. I'm not into the whole import ricer thing... I prefer American muscle I joined this forum after receiving a MSG on on my Dodge/Chrysler LX Owners Group page from JT. Honestly never heard of BAMM or Cencallx until just then, but then again I never searched outside of meetup.com (I already prepaid 6 months hosting there for my group so I'll keep it alive and more than likely publicize this forum there so others there can find this site like I did.) if forum admins would like to join my meetup group I will give you leader priveledges if you want it. I made the group specifically to find other LX owners who actually lived near redwood city and to make new friends that I could relate to. Http://www.meetup.com/lxowners/

More about me... I work at SFO Airport as a civilian owned company Field Service Engineer. I am not a veteran, but almost joined the army twice lol... Long story... Anyways.. Like I said earlier I currently drive a 2007 Dodge Charger SXT, but I have already submitted and received confirmation on my order on a 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8. I am hoping to get delivery of my new car in December sometime around my Birthday on the 20th. Still no official ETA from Chrysler.

Current Car Mods:
- AFE Stage 2 cold air intake
- 180 Jet thermostat
- magnaflow cat back dual exhaust
- JDM Halo Headlights with projector housing
- JDM Led Tailight housing
- Decepticon Badging front nose and trunk with Decepticon Lettering on Trunk lower Right corner
- 6K HID low beams (was 3k till one bulb went bad)
- 3K HID fog lights

2012 SRT8
- Pitch Black
- supercar tire upgrade
- Moonroof
- cruise package
- driver package
- engine block heater (just in case I take it out of state or somewhere cold)

Future Mod Plans for the SRT8 if everything stays good and stable

Stage 1: (within 1 year)
- darkest legal Security tint I can get
- M47 extreme Blinder & Valentine1
- LoJack
- hidden Ignition Kill switch
- Magnaflow high flow cats
- Electric Cutouts
- Magnaflow Cat Back exhaust
- Stage 2 CAI

Stage 2: (2nd-3rd year)
- Forged Internals
- new headers
- supercharger with inter cooler
- 2 stage push button Dry Nitrous

May change these anywhere at anytime..
- Lexan Windows all around (may do this one soon after getting it for weight reduction and security purposes)
- aluminum Block if available

Last mods I may or may not do..
- wide body kit with rims and tires to match
- rear window Louver
- new headlight housing
- rear tail light mod... Add more LEDs to make the whole thing light up when you hit the brakes like they should have done in the first place

Anyways.... Hope everyone is doing good and look forward to meeting all of you oneday soon

Thanks for the warm welcome

As far as hurting myself.. I don't Plan on really racing it on the streets... Just making my car my hobby and seeing what she can do as far as opening it up in a straight line... without completely gutting her. Fastest I've ever gone is 150-160ish.. I'd like to join the 200+ club

Was also thinking about signing up for car sponsors... Anyone got any experience with car sponsors? Tips? Etc?
