Default New oem motor mount pics

If anyone's interested. At some point, all hemi owners will be. Why, you ask?
Because the original oem motor mounts SUCK! Don't believe me? If your hemi car is 4 years or older or you've had power added and haven't yet replaced them, look at your mounts.

Here are 2 pics of the old design. All that rubber.....Not good.

Here's the older mount broken. This is where they break

Here are 2 pics (left and right sides) of the new mounts installed. They are much beefier and stiffer. Also....These will not allow for as much motor movement if they should ever break.

I just ordered a set. I'll be installing them this weekend.

According to the parts manger, there were only 6 left in stock in the entire country before I ordered mine.

I was a little bored today so I started the swap out of the old mounts with the newer style Challenger 6 speed motor mounts... Believe me, this is not a fun mod.

New style mount on the left.

New drivers side mount installed.

Today I installed the passenger side mount.

I found it easier to replace the mount by removing the starter.
