It's true they have C.A.R.B legal race fuel but it cost more and don't think you can get it at the pump. This really sucks for me as sometimes I run 110 or higher to keep the knock down when I run nitrous.

76 station in redwood city sells (through the pump) a 100 octane blend that is legal. $6.29 gal.

Well, I checked it out after work today. No 93, but they did have 97 octane at the pump. At 6.49/gallon, I think I'll stick with my 91 octane tune.

On a brighter note, I ordered a DCX tune for my Jeep today. On sale for $79 for 3 revisions. Woot! I imagine it would go for the LX SRTs too....

" Many refiners, blenders, and distributors of racing fuel sell and supply a "street legal" high octane unleaded gasoline (racing fuel) blend that complies with the specifications for California RFG. This complying racing gasoline is readily available and is legal for use in all motor vehicles both on and off road. Retailers may sell this racing gasoline as complying California RFG."

Your cats are fine if you use unleaded. I believe the highest is 109, but I wouldn't go past 104 just to be safe. If you use LEADED gas (110+) then that will damage your cats.

Do they have 93 there? I know they have racing fuel but I think that can damage the cats . . .

Dickey Petroleum in Turlock sells 100 in a 5 gallon can. VP Fuels Street Blaze 100. They use to sell out of drum, but new CARB laws won't permit it. $58.26 per 5 gallons! Kind of expensive, but for occasional use, I really don't care. I used this mixed with 91 when I did the mile earlier this month. Did 6g of 91 with 5g of the 100. Should have net to about 95.
