Yeah, but you'll need the newer coils (MSD #82558). They're about $450.00 shipped.

Trying to better understand the pros and cons of these blaster coils...

Running stock 6.1L with predator/CAI/180T-stat. Will I see noticable improvement? Where?
Any downsides to installing these? Can you pass smog test with them installed?

As Tom said...would it help me improve my Mojave mile time? Or even 1/4 mile time?

I don't know what you'd gain on a stock SRT (6.1). These are supposed to provide a better more reliable spark through the rpm range. I can tell you that on my 5.7, I feel better pull mid to high rpms at WOT. I got these not only for the better spark capabilities, but also because my coils are nearly 7 years old and because they fire both plugs in the same cylinder at the same time (Short wire mod). Something the '05 coils didn't do from the factory.

Both Mark and Ken could tell you more about how these perform on a 6.1 as they both have been using these for quite some time.

As far as emissions is concerned........

From the MSD web site:

MSD fully supports efforts by the CARB and EPA to make certain that emissions-certified products are available to the specialty parts customer. In fact, MSD is able to meet these requirements while delivering the performance benefits for which our products are widely known. On a consistent basis, MSD applies for and obtains CARB E.O.s for its emissions-related products. It is MSD’s intention to provide customers with up-to-date, technologically state-of-the-art, street-legal parts that comply with regulatory requirements while preventing problems for the consumer when engaging in emissions test programs and registration procedures mandated by governmental agencies.
