Howl at the Moon

On the way home from work tonight I couldn't resist and pulled over to try to take some pictures of The Ride in front of the Full Moon. Unfortunately it wasn't a Harvest Moon and just couldn't get the right distance to it. Oh well, I like how some of these came out anyway!

Very nice, Dub!! I love moon pics and yours look incredible. I don't think anyone has ever noticed the full moon in my Avatar because of the small size. Heck, I can't even find the original size in my Photobucket...

Very nice, it's hard to get that right apature setting for the moon for the surface fidelity without a tripod and the rest of the picture looking like daylight. I like how the car pics turned out though. I looked up the camera setting off the net on the last Wolf moon on how to take the moon surface pics with my camera and other than not having a good enough zoom lens they turned out pretty good.

Very cool Raf, I always am out at night during full moons cause everything looks soo neat, but every time I try and get a pic when I see something worth sharing, it never looks as good as what I see right before me. It gets so frustrating sometimes. I know if I had a better camera, I could probably do it cause I have the knowledge, (my dad does some photography) he taught me a little, but I think it actually made me expect too much out of a camera.... lol
