Alright, Sunday March 7th, after 66 days of open registration, we've got a total of 605 registered, averaging almost 10 registrations per day.

Since the last stats post we added FIVE:

All FIVE are from California

TWO 300s, ONE Charger, ONE Challenger, ONE non-LX

THREE 2006s, ONE 2009 and ONE Other

ONE 300C, THREE SRTs (300, Challenger and Charger) and ONE Other Other (Non-Dodge/Non-LX, Vendor? Jeep SRT?)

TWO Brilliant Black Crystal Pearls, ONE Cool Vanilla, ONE Hemi Orange Pearl and ONE Silver Steel Metallic

Attendance Rankings:

By State/Region:

449 - California - 74.2% of attendance, 25.8% came from outside SpringFest's home state. Not bad!
40 - Arizona - Neighboring state
28 - Texas - Half-way across the country! Go Texas!
17 - Nevada - Neighboring state
12 - Washington - Go PNW!
11 - British Columbia (CAN) - Our biggest non-US group!
8 - Utah - Biggest group from Utah for this event ever?
6 - Oregon - Neighboring state
4 - Ohio - FOUR from the Mid-west and the largest group to come across the Mississippi River to get here!
3 each - Alberta, Florida, New Mexico and Ontario - Some of the farthest traveling groups for this event!
2 each - Kansas and Louisiana - The heart of the country and the Gulf States are even represented!
1 each - Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Queretaro and Wyoming - Mexico, the Upper Midwest and the East Coast, plus Georgia!

By Make/Model:

212 - Dodge Charger - Just over a third of the attendance for this event! Y'all have come a LONG way from the first Spring Fest when you were the newbies.
168 - Dodge Magnum - Awesome considering they don't make them any more. You all always were mod innovators.
111 - Chrysler 300 - As the pretty boys of the bunch, you darn well better be in the triple digits for this event!
96 - Dodge Challenger - Just FOUR more makes a HUNDRED. Awesome for your second year but keep 'em coming!

By Year:

201 - 2006 - That's right, over 200 2006 model LXes at this event!
125 - 2007
93 - 2005 - Still coming out in numbers after five model years!
78 - 2008
76 - 2009
20 - 2010
12 - Other

By Model/Trim:

68 - Charger R/T
64 - Magnum R/T
59 - Charger SRT
52 - Challenger SRT
46 - 300C SRT
42 each - Magnum SRT and Magnum SXT
41 - 300C
36 - Challenger R/T
31 - Charger R/T Daytona (31 in ONE place!!)
17 - Charger SXT
16 - Charger SE
15 - Other Other
14 - Magnum SE
11 - Charger Super Bee
8 each - 300 Base/LX, 300 Touring and Charger SE Plus
6 - Challenger R/T Classic
4 - 300 Limited
3 each - Magnum R/T AWD and Dodge Other
2 each - 300C Heritage, 300C SRT Design, Challenger SE, Charger R/T AWD and Magnum Base
1 - Magnum SXT AWD

6.1L engines (at least what the cars came with...) make up 210 or 35% of the total attendance
5.7L engines (at least what the cars came with...) make up 255 or 42% of the total attendance
V6 engines make up 122 or 20% of the total attendance

By Color:

178 - Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl
72 - Bright Silver Metallic
47 - Inferno Red Crystal Pearl
44 - Silver Steel Metallic
38 - Other (Non-OEM, aftermarket or non-LX)
35 - TorRed
29 - Hemi Orange Pearl
27 - Cool Vanilla
26 - Stone White
15 - Magnesium Pearl
14 - Midnight Blue Pearl
12 - B5 Blue Pearl
8 each - Deep Water Blue and Steel Blue Metallic
7 each - Dark Titanium Metallic, Go Mango! and Top Banana
6 - Detonator Yellow
5 - Plum Crazy Pearl
4 each - Deep Lava Red Pearl and Sublime Metallic (Two colors that have GOT to be seen in person)
3 each - Clearwater Blue Pearl and Mineral Gray Metallic
2 each - Marine Blue Pearl and Satin Jade Pearl
1 each - Light Sandstone Metallic and Linen Gold Metallic Pearl

Personal Note:

Things that I don't see in the daily stats - aftermarket modifications, body alterations, lambo doors, suicide doors, halos, aftermarket fascias, interior modifications, engine bay dress up, engine upgrades, blowers, turbos, cams, headers, rims, dropped suspensions, tinted tails, eyelids, sound systems, ground effects, track times, time slips.

I don't know how many of these cars are still stock, numbered, or on their second or third engine block.

I don't know how many little junior LXers there are attending, who want to grow up and be like mom or dad and have their own Modern Muscle car to drive and show off.

I know I put up a lot of totals and numbers, but there's so much more to this event than just the numbers. Again, if you're on the fence, I urge you to register for this. You don't even have to thank me. Just go and have a good time and take it all in. There's just nothing else like it if you're as into these cars as you'd have to be to be on these forums.

I'm just one member of these forums. I use my Dodge Charger SRT to run errands and cart my toddler around. I haven't made any significant cosmetic or performance modifications and I'm not into all the competition. I just love my car and all the friends I've made because of my curiousity about my car that led me to this online community. That's why I'm a big cheerleader for this event. The first time I went I made more lifelong friends than I can count on all my fingers and toes. Each year that I went, I made more friends. Every year gets better and better.

Trust me, if you can muster the funds and time, you need to go to this event. Even if you don't go to any other event all year (which hopefully you go to lots!), you need to go to this event.

Thanks for following my posts and if you've registered already, thank you.

You are truly an awesome cheerleader for this event, Tam! I sense your excitement for all who attend (my first time!) and your disappointment on not going this time yourself! You, Mark and Maddie, Elee and the others in the club that can't or won't make it, will be missed greatly by those of us that will be going. Thanks for all the input and work that you've done to keep us up to date and excited about the event. Love to you, T!

March 8th, 12 days to go and we added SEVEN more since last night.

All SEVEN from California (456)

THREE Chrysler 300s (114), THREE Dodge Challengers (99), ONE Dodge Magnum (1)

ONE 2005 (94), TWO 2006s (203), ONE 2007 (126) and THREE 2009s (79)

ONE 300C, FOUR SRTs (ONE 300, TWO Challengers and ONE Magnum), ONE Touring, and ONE R/T (Challenger)

SOMEONE changed their color from Bright Silver Metallic to Other.... interesting

The colors we added - ONE Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl (179), ONE Deep Water Blue (9), TWO Hemi Orange Pearls (31), ONE Inferno Red Crystal Pearl (48), TWO Others (One new and the switcharoo - 40 total), and ONE Steel Blue Metallic (9)

If your stats aren't listed, this is just a daily update. I'll be writing up another big summary tomorrow.

Just TWELVE days from the show itself, just a matter of days before the first start showing up in Irvine to start early. Get your cars serviced, make sure you've got time for detailing, go get those last minute supplies for the trip and the show. Make sure you've got plenty of memory for photos and videos. Based on past years, bring sunscreen and a warm jacket (the weather can vary wildly from year to year, lol). We're in the home stretch now!
