Spring Fest 2011 -- Feedback

I had fun this time, but I actually had more fun last time... weather probably had a lot to do with that though. And location, I liked the location last year a lot better. Also the set up last year seemed better and they gave away more free stuff. LOL The drift cars were cool, the test cars you can drivc were great! Mainly because it really made me not wanna run out and buy a new one. LOL Drinks were better last year and you could get them before and after lunch time... I think a mobile dyno would be a great idea... more vendors would also be a good idea... Oh and the Double Tree hotel needs to flag off areas for SF cars only... I know they have other customers but we were probably at least 90% of the occupancy (sp?). Oh, one thing I really wish we could have done is take our own cars around the courses they had set up...

Basically:
More stuff to do
Better location
Better organization of vendors
More free stuff lol
BETTER WEATHER lol

I would have liked more vendors for clothing. Really wanted some "Springfest wear" other than the CenCal shirts...not that I don't love them!

I was wanting something from SF in a sweatshirt or long sleeved form.

On our way home we stopped to pet this horse and I was wearing my white cencal shirt, damn horse rubbed up against me and I cannot get the stain out completely =(

We had a blast as we always do. It was great to see everyone. It was AWESOME to bring some long time friends who have JUST become LXers. They've heard me talk of SF the past few years, and to be able to experience their first time with them AND all of you...PERFECT. You all are great and i don't think we could put together a better group of people.

-More parts vendors would be nice.
-Free food is AWESOME, but some food vendors would be cool.
-The clothing vendors would be cool too. there were a few in the past.
-Raffles have been cool in the past, but it was pretty lame last year. I think it was better to have none than a repeat of 2010. Although they did raffle off a pair of shoes last year...and i was only ONE NUMBER OFF! Doh!
-I agree that a parts corral would be a sweet addition.

I agree with some of what JOBEE said as well. I heard from a few different people that there was some snobby responses or reactions by a certain someone (not CenCal). I wonder what the CHANCE is we are thinking of the same person. If it is the same guy...I got the snub from him 3 years ago and again last year. S#!t on me once...S#!t on me twice...Stay the hell away from me, because i'll snap if i get s#!t on a third time!

It was a TON OF FUN! like Tamara said...it was more about the people this year. I looked at and enjoyed the cars as always, but I met and talked to a TON more people than years past.

I say we have SUMMER FEST this year in San Jose....i think i know just the spot!
