I went to Famoso Friday night. It was fun. The temp. did drop as promised. I got 6 runs in, but no record times.
Saturday I went to Buttonwillow Raceway. That was semi orgnized disorgnization. You race on the back stright a way. It remindes me of when I went to a street race 30 years ago. It was fun though. I made 11 runs in a 4 hour window with an 1 hr. of break time to cool the car down. The best time was 13.166 @ 110.26. There was no VHT or burnout box. They also have a narrow track. It's kind of like a back country road. But no S.O. or C.H.P. to write you up for racing,,,,LOL. The 110.26 is my fastest speed so far on a track,,,LOL, ,,That was cool. If people call to the track and ask for more that just may happen this year. Legal street racing at it's finest. Track fee per run this weekend was $2.65 per run. That less than most Happy hour Beers..........LOL..........
