Glad you guys had a good time out there. I know everyone was wishing that we could get people more runs, but unfortunately some things happened that were beyond our control. That's racing though. I have a feeling that this will be the last 1-day Mojave Mile. It's become popular enough that it's worth it to consistantly make it 2 days.

Congrats on the record, Tom, and hope to see you all out there again in October.

Yes, you made it in ALL four videos I took of each of my runs...and thank you for being there to hand me all my time slips...especially that second one..lol! I'm likely hooked now and will have to be there to defend the record, if it still stands in Sept.

Tom, there was an error on the results they mailed to you. I saw on the Mojave Mile Forum that driver 169 said too many runs were posted to his name. They came back and said they confused car 169 and 179, and that the run belonged to Tom B. It's a good thing they caught that, because it was your best run of the day, at 149.4mph. Your times have since been corrected on the web page.

Yeah, while I was in Texas, I saw that and was anxious about other things at the time and unable to "fight" it. As it turns out, B5BabyBlues (Susie) saw the same thing, and wrote the folks in Vegas and had it all straightened out for me. I've since received the corrected Speed Certificate and all is well with my soul! Great to have such wonderful folks that take things of things like this for you! What a relief I didn't have to remedy this myself. Thanks for the heads up, David!!

I was so proud of all my friends' passes that day. Congrats to you all for racing so beautifully. I'm glad that the "powers that be" from the Mojave Mile Shootout were so open to hear from a non-racing-participant and fixed the error. I had the help of the photo of the timeslip and the video. A local Vette guy hit nearly 206 MPH at the last Mojave Mile. Friggen crazy!
