It is safer to put a blower on a 5.7 than a 6:1. 5.7 is a 91 compresson srt is over 10:1. For every 3.3 lbs of boost bumps your compression 1 pt. 6 lbs of boost on a 6.1 i s like a 12.6:1 cr motor. 5.7 is 11:1 run 100 oactane and you'll be fine with the motor. Ease it off thee line from and idle and you can drive the car home.
