You will also need a fire extinguisher mounted inside within reach of the driver.

Hmm, Mojave Mile, or custom dyno tune for the truck. I think I may have to pass on the Mojave Mile, at least the May one. Sept may still be doable. Or see what this 1.5Mile thing in June is all about.

Do spectators have to pay to watch? If I'm not going to run the truck, I'd still like to go watch. Maybe ride down with someone else and play pit crew.

TONIGHT MIDNIGHT...TIME TO REGISTER FOR EARLIEST START TIMES!!! Here's the info from email I received today: Signup @: Mojave Mile

To All,

As I write this, we are working hard to switch over our new website and the online Registration system in preparation for opening Registration at midnight tonight, Pacific time. I am giving all of you a "heads up" to let you know that, while you cannot see anything now, you WILL see it before midnight. We can verify that the online Registration system is fully up and running, but we want to switch over the website at the same time, to prevent a lot of programming hassles.

We anticipate switching over in the next 1-2 hours, and there is some transition time afterwards before you will be able to see the new site. It is still under the same name, so your bookmarks should still work after the switch.

I will send out another email blast to all of you the moment we are switched over (BELOW**), so please watch your emails tonight if you are planning to register after midnight. If there is a delay, I will let you know. Once the new site is up, simply click on the yellow bar at the top that says, "Sign up for Mojave Mile" and follow the link. There is more informaion on how to register in the "News" section of the new site, which is a new blog page we have created. I have written five news blog posts there for you to read covering the latest news.

Please be patient with us, this internet stuff is hard!

**OK, everyone, it looks like the website launch and on-line Registration are ready to go! In just 4 hours, you early-birds can grab those first Saturday Grid spots.

The Forums are down temporarily, but I have added information on how to register online in the News section for you to read.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you this year at the track!

Sure did! I was the second one to sign up and the first in the Auto 1 category. The guy who took my record was #5 in that category...lol

About a dozen signed up before I went to bed.

Here's looking at you...from BADNBLU!
