Hey John,
I'm partial to the Porter cable 7424. I have owned one for a year and a half. One good thing about the polisher it's great for a newbie or a pro. If you plan to get it add the yellow disk to the order. You will need it for the pads. At the Adam's show the detailer used one on Aarons car. If you remember he dug into the paint with the polisher without damaging the paint.

BTW, I have been removing soem scratches in the door jam and other little issues to get her ready for SF. A good cleaner polish I bought at Good Guys is Meguiars # 82. Bitchen stuff. It leaves a far suprior shine then the other guy. I will leave him nameless.

If you hadnt got the porter cable yet, get with Forrest (07Bullet). The ones he has are practically identical. I've seen and used his and it's JUST like my Porter Cable. He's got EVERYTHING you can want. AND he can get you any Meguiars products and i think the 3M stuff as well.
