Default Heeeeellllllp!!!

Hey all, as you may or may not know, Pern powder coated his wheels black and purchased some new Lugs. He got aluminum lugs. He recently had to get new tires and when the wheel place went to take the wheels off...SEVERAL of the lugs BROKE, and broke deep on the lug. Whos got a good idea as to how to get these things off?

here are some pics i took with my phone...

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

ive used a 12 point 18mm deep socket. hammered it on and took it off with a 1/2 inch ratchet.

Hope that helps

Yeah I used some penatrant and hammered a socket onto a gorilla lock set to remove them when I lost the key.

I've also welded a star wrench onto broken lugs before in order to remove them.

if you'll notice in the last pic...there is NO place for any kind of socket to fit. whats left is round and deep in the hole. perhaps Pern can take a few more pics and post um.

I wonder if you could gain access to the hub nut and remove the wheel and rotor together, then remove the head of the stud and pound it through?

An idea the dealer had but didn't know the answer to. It may be the way to go. BUT DAMN, that'll be a TON of work!

Found this DIY for you, Joey, but, Aaron, I don't think it's what you are looking for:

MY350Z.COM Forums - View Single Post - DIY: How to remove stripped lugs or wheel locks without a key

Yeah...I know it's not for our vehicles but it should help!
