I did mine and I noticed that the tire kicks up dirt and gets the engine bay a little dirty. Especially when it rains.

about midway inside the fender well. If you go to low and rub that part of the liner, eventually, the liner will wear through and that lip will slice through the tire. You have plenty of room on the outside but not in the middle.
