Default Daytona on a diet...

Im going to try and jump on a deal this week that would reduce rim weight by 6lbs per wheel... And still maintain an 18 inch rim (TDM 8*18)I think our stocks are 21lbs each.

Still doing the math on unsprung weight... It's 1 pound loss rolling equal to 8 lbs isn't it? Or is that water lol...

I know the trend is bigger, high end rims.... But any old school hot rodders out there that could throw in their .02?

Would it really shave 100 lbs plus off car from a 1/4 mile perspective ?

I prefer the old school look of smaller rims and bigger fatter tires myself.
