Best Deal Tire & Wheel
in Tracy. Last December while driving on I-5 in Stockton, I was changing lanes and hit a pothole. Didn't even realize til I got home that it had bent and cracked the aluminum lip on one of my rims. I called this place because it's nearby and they came and picked up my rim, which I thought was cool. Well, a week and a half later I went to pick it up, and the job they did "fixing" it was atrocious. Before I had even seen it, they already took off the donut I drove over there on and were putting it on my car. I felt like they were doing that to ensure I'd pay for it or something. I paid and left. All they had done was a sloppy weld over the lip, ruining the entire rim (and damaging it on other areas not even near the bend/crack). I can show you guys photos if you want.
Fast forward to a month or so ago when I got an oil change: the technician saw the rim and suggested I file a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair. I hadn't even heard of them. So I did, and I got my $160 back for the "repair" (the owner tried to argue with me though) and as it turns out, said the guy from BAR, that business wasn't even registered with them and are now going to have to pay fines.
